Located in historic Wellfleet Harbor at the corner of Commercial St. & Kendrick Ave directly across from the town pier, PEARL is a complete renovation of the former Captain Higgins restaurant. In addition to over 30 years as Captain Higgins, the building previously housed the famous Spit and Chatter Club and prior to that, functioned as Ernest Higgins oyster shucking shack. PEARL’s innovative new design involved stripping away the many layers of interior changes to reveal the origins of the original post and beam oyster shack. The result is home to the all new open air kitchen seamlessly connecting with the expanded dining areas, a large indoor/outdoor bar, and three different decks with amazing panoramic views of the entire Harbor all the way out to Great Island, Billingsgate Shoals and beyond.
